Calligraphy workshops in the North East
If you would like to give the art of beautiful writing a go yourself, Creative Calligraphy founder Angela Reed teaches calligraphy throughout the north east of England.
Regular venues include Re-Create Today in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside, From Loft to Loved in Sedgefield, County Durham, and Newcastle Arts Centre in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
Weekly classes are also held at Mortimer Community Centre in South Shields. If you would like to add your name to the waiting list for a place, please get in touch.
Angela is also happy to offer private workshops for individuals and groups, as well as community organisations and schools.

Copperplate Calligraphy

£60Copperplate is an elegant calligraphy style, written with a dip pen and ink.
In this relaxed and informal session, calligrapher Angela Reed, from Creative Calligraphy, will introduce you to the art of writing with a pointed nib, before taking you through the basic strokes and moving on to letter and word formation.
Spend the evening learning the therapeutic practice of calligraphy!
