Calligraphy workshops in the North East
If you would like to give the art of beautiful writing a go yourself, Creative Calligraphy founder Angela Reed teaches calligraphy throughout the north east of England.
Regular venues include Re-Create Today in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside, From Loft to Loved in Sedgefield, County Durham, and Newcastle Arts Centre in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
Weekly classes are also held at Mortimer Community Centre in South Shields. If you would like to add your name to the waiting list for a place, please get in touch.
Angela is also happy to offer private workshops for individuals and groups, as well as community organisations and schools.

Italic Calligraphy Workshop *SOLD OUT*

£30Learn the beautiful art of writing with a broad-edged pen to create a traditional calligraphy alphabet. This workshop will introduce you to italic script, from getting started with a calligraphy pen to drawing up guidelines for practice and forming letters, building up to words and sentences.
All materials will be provided and the ticket price also includes refreshments.
