Calligraphy workshops in the North East
If you would like to give the art of beautiful writing a go yourself, Creative Calligraphy founder Angela Reed teaches calligraphy throughout the north east of England.
Regular venues include Re-Create Today in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside, From Loft to Loved in Sedgefield, County Durham, Elvet & Bailey in Durham City and Newcastle Arts Centre in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
Weekly classes are also held on Thursday and Friday mornings at Mortimer Community Centre in South Shields. If you would like to add your name to the waiting list for a place, please get in touch.
Angela is also happy to offer private workshops for individuals and groups, as well as community organisations and schools.

Calligraphy Workshop

£30Join us in the cosy surroundings of From Loft to Loved for an introduction to the art of beautiful writing. This session will guide you through the basics of using a calligraphy pen to form a simple alphabet. All materials will be provided and are yours to take home. There will also be a hot drink and cake. Tickets are £30 per person and a £10 non-refundable deposit is required. This payment can be made in person at From Loft to Loved or via Paypal using info@creative-calligraphy.
